Upcoming Wildside Winery Events



Wildside Winery just announced two upcoming events for the month of May:

May 9th – a free wine and cheese pairing featuring six of Wildside’s red wines with Kenny’s Kentucky Cheeses.  Runs from 2-6pm.

May 30th – BBQ and Bourbon Barrel Red, an event offering live music, barbeque and Wildside’s Bourbon Barrel Red wine.  Cost is $13 before April 30th, or $20 at the door.

Barrel Tasting for the Springs



A new and unique fundraiser event to benefit McConnell Springs, the site where Lexington was named.

The 2nd Annual Barrel Tasting will take place Saturday, March 28, 2009, 11 a.m-5 p.m..

The event features 11 participating wineries. Those attending the event will travel in their own vehicle to each or as many of the sponsoring wineries as they wish for one free barrel tasting at that winery.

Cork, Pork & Blues at Equus Run



On Saturday, March 21 from 12 to 4pm head on out to Equus Run Vineyards for their Cork, Pork & Blues event featuring Patty Butcher and her acoustic blues combo.  Enjoy pulled pork sandwiches with all the fixin’s.

Valentine’s Day Four Course Dinner



Jean Farris Winery in Lexington is offering an intimate four course menu with wine pairing $75 per person plus tax and gratuity. Violinists, Amy and Daniel Carwile, will be the entertainment for the evening. A la carte service will also be available. Holly Hill Inn Wine Guild Tasting and Seminar: The Red Wines of Italy



Guildmaster Steve Mancuso has “An Offer You Chianti Refuse:” a discussion of the red wines of Italy. Wine Guild members (membership is free), their friends and families are welcome to attend. Following the T&S we invite you to stay and enjoy dinner downstairs at the Holly Hill Inn from Chef Ouita’s holiday a la carte menu. Limited to 14 participants in each session.

Session times are 6-7pm and 7:30-8:30pm.
